    Position Description:

     

    TWO Harbors is seeking a Service Transfer Manager  who will perform a wide variety of duties to support the Servicing Oversight group. This role will work closely with our network of sellers and sub-servicers by serving as a project manager on all inbound and outbound servicing transfers. This includes developing schedules and timelines for each deal and the daily follow up to ensure that each milestone remains on track and the end result is a CFPB compliant transfer. Qualified candidates will be highly organized, results oriented, self-starting, possess strong communication skills, have a background in mortgage servicing/originations, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Completion of a “monthly transfer summary report” which evidences adherence to compliance requirements, successful achievement of all deliverables, archival of approvals/communications, and reconciliation of expected populations.
    • Conduct a post mortem as part of every service transfer to identify lessons learned/ potential process improvements.
    • Ability to balance multiple priorities with while dealing with regulatory / financial deadlines.
    • Schedule and facilitate meetings with sellers, servicers, and vendors as necessary related to the service transfer process:
      • Ensure all deliverables are clearly documented
      • Foster and preserve positive relationships.
    • Monitor email and provide timely and appropriate responses while actively tracking/resolving tasks.
    • Monthly control point testing.
    • Maintenance of policy and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ experience in the mortgage industry, working with mortgage data and systems from origination to servicing
      • Specific experience with servicing transfers, servicing operations, or origination post-closing strongly preferred
      • Knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac  servicing requirements
      • Experience with MSP a plus
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision while achieving stated objectives
    • Undergraduate degree (preferred) or equivalent work related experience required
    • Demonstrated project management skills
    • Ability to partner with traders, business executives and peers
    • Must be technologically literate and proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
      • Experience using SQL is a plus
